As part of its commitment to advancingwomen in the industry, the Packaging & Processing Women’s LeadershipNetwork Latin America (PPWLN LATAM) will host a networking breakfast and livepanel discussion on Wednesday, June 3. The session, “Reverse Mentorship,Purpose, and Intergenerational Collaboration,” will explore how women acrossgenerations are redefining leadership through inclusion, shared purpose, andmentorship.
Intergenerational collaboration isespecially timely, as more than half of women working in packaging andprocessing have been in the industry for less than 10 years. Women remainunderrepresented in senior leadership and technical roles, are often concentratedin commercial positions, and earn on average more than 20% less than men incomparable roles—highlighting opportunities to cultivate talent and expandrepresentation across the sector.

The unPACKed enEspañol podcast includes sessions such as “Mujeres que reescriben las reglasdel liderazgo en la industria,” where leaders share how the new generationof women is opening paths, multiplying impact, and driving innovation acrossthe sector.
